Four Flies continues to dig into the vast and largely unexplored archives of Giuliano Sorgini to bring hidden treasures back to light. This collection of previously unreleased instrumentals, all of which were played and recorded by the composer himself at his Cat and Fox Studio in Rome, explores the moods and atmospheres of childhood. The musical range spans from ethereal and intimate pieces like “In the Cradle” or “Teddy Bear” (both with a lullaby-like electric piano), to more lively and dynamic numbers like “Little Pirates”, “Funny Games” or “Children's Parade” (which bring in percussion, sequencers and quirky synths), confirming Sorgini’s mastery of a wide variety of styles.
