The Ghia saga unfolds once more, but in this chapter, there's a new and unique twist. "Out of Luck" draws its roots from a previously lost track, originally composed by the group in 1985. This time around, the song has been expertly reworked by Marian Tone, with new vocals by Adriano Prestel. The outcome? Quite possibly one of the smoothest and most refreshing modern funk tunes you'll hear this year. On this project, Tone joined forces with Ed Longo (of Cosmic Romance, Stella) and his Key Elements group member, the keyboard virtuoso Jim Dunloop. The track underwent a complete transformation, re-recorded, mixed, and co-produced by Ed at his Soundrays studio. The result was a warm and original sound that met our expectations. Adriano Prestel, known to some through his group projects Pho Queue and Guvvy, as well as his collaborations with DJ Friction and others, lent his songwriting and vocal talents to "Out of Luck." His contribution solidifies his position as one of Germany's leading soulful voices. We genuinely hope you enjoy the outcome of this new Ghia project.
