Richard Hronský is a Slovak multi-disciplinary artist based in Bratislava. ‘CLOSURES’, his second album, is a document of his daily musical practice from the last several tumultuous months. His heavy use of samples which are stretched and spliced beyond recognition creates an uncanny world, an elastic, lo-fi, distorted and convoluted reality, and yet, the music holds tremendous emotional weight. It’s an album of wistful reminiscence, but also of knowing that things are exactly how they should be, a dreamlike landscape of moments, sounds, impressions and hopes.
