In 2023, the adventurous duo of beatmakers and DJs Souleance presented us with their album "Beautiful," a promise to capture the quintessence of beauty, that so subjective notion. We all appreciate what is beautiful, but everyone has their own definition, whether it is spiritual or physical: a meal with friends, a good record, a soothing landscape, a moment on the dancefloor.
A new definition today: Souleance invites System Olympia, Free The Robots, Poirier, CLAUDE aka Fulgeance for 4 dancefloor fillers.
First with System Olympia, iconic figure of the underground erotico electro scene, at the crossroads of synth pop, italo disco, and RnB for a seduction game on "Out Of Touch".
Invited next, US producer, Free The Robots chops up "A onda" for an infurious polymorphous break / baile slow funk remix.
And CLAUDE aka Fulgeance for a rumbling and thomping disco gospel house killer remix of "La Fête", reminiscing Thomas Bangalter's bleeps and tweaks on Roulé's imprint.
Finally Poirier, on "Koul Dan Mon Do", in a sega accordion instrumentation revisited in electronic funk mode, with singer Kaloune's enchanting voice to sing in Creole. The icing on the cake is Cyril Atef on drums and percussion.
The full "Beautiful Remixes EP" will be released on September 27, 2024, featuring remixes by Poirier, System Olympia, Free The Robots, and Claude on Heavenly Sweetness and First Word Recordsin the UK.
