In this regard, Italian songstress Scerida clearly knows where she stands. Following the EP ‘By Night’, her brand new album is titled ‘Voglia Di Perdere’ – which basically translates to ‘Craving to lose’.



In a world where everyone's flaunting their victories, Scerida proudly raises her hand for the right to admit defeat, not without a hint of languidly self-deprecating humour. The album’s 8 tracks are drenched in post-wave vibes, with nocturnal rhythms, lo-fi atmospheres, and ethereal sounds from a hypnotic future. It's like stepping through disco strobe lights into an uncharted sonic dreamland that is at once infectious and subtle, ultra modern and a little nostalgic.
