After ace releases from the likes of Lokane and Wallwork & RZR, experimental club label Nervous Horizon are brewing up a storm with their latest heater. Tsvi and Lorenzo BITW’s rugged grime banger has a distinctly tropical flavour, before getting a bit darker in the second half with cathedral synths and a wonderfully programmed drum avalanche. Last heard on Lamont’s recent Keysound 12”, North London MC Nico Lindsay proves more than up to the task here. He’s blessed with one of those deliveries that just commands attention, and a versatile flow well suited to this shapeshifting beat.
