Kowton's first release for Idle Hands. The label was set up in 2009 from the back room of Rooted Records, with an aim to showcase the best in raw, grooving and experimental electronic music with a particular focus on the UK underground. The two tracks selected for the release: 'Basic Music Knowlege' & 'Hunger' operate in the murky musical middle ground between darkly swung garage and the submerged techno sound of producers like STL.
