Celebrating over 15 years of the influential London-based imprint, Eglo Records Vol.3 is a vibrant testament to the labels continued evolution, further shaping the contours of left of centre, underground dance music and beyond.
Featuring tracks from the labels inner circle and wider global family, the track-list journeys though past, present and future, including contributions from Shy One, Steve Spacek, Sticky Dub, Dego & Kaidi, Stefan Ringer, Last Nubian, Chunky, Giles Smith, Alex Nut and more - all offering their unique takes on the rich, genre defying sound that has become synonymous with the Eglo Records ethos.
From deep percussive workouts and forward-thinking Broken Beat to emotive House and warped electronics, Volume 3 captures the spirit of a label that has long refused to be boxed in. Each track reflects the community-driven, musically adventurous energy that has made Eglo a beloved institution across dancefloors worldwide. Featuring exclusive music from new label project Sum Of It's Parts, new signees's including House music aficionado Giles Smith and Bristolian Broken Beat producer Sentinel 679 as well as debut material from label boss Alex Nut.
Founded by Alex Nut and Floating Points in 2009, centred around the meeting point of the infamous Plastic People nightclub, Eglo Records has grown from a cult favourite into one of the UK's most respected labels, championing artists who consistently blur the lines between Jazz, House, Soul, and experimental club music. Eglo Records Vol 3 is a celebration of the past, present, and future — an essential collection for long-time followers and new listeners alike. A limited 12" vinyl album sampler is available in all good record stores now.
