SL Jung (DE) and BANES (UK) met on an island NYE rave when they both lived in Vietnam in 2021. BANES introduced SL Jung to the Saigon DJ scene and they played quite a few shows together. Before BANES moved back to London, they did one studio session. "Green Islands" is the result. Reminiscent to the country they met, BANES added his field recording of a monk.
