Belgian-Greek artist Naethan debuts on Kiosk ID with 'Katy'-a bold, electro-acoustic two-tracker that blends highly textured dance music with glitched-out synth work and fluttering, ethereal melodies. Instead of polished shine, Naethan leans into raw, emotional immediacy, coaxing up a one-of-a-kind soundscape-nuanced, eclectic, and with powerful soul and grit.

The title track, 'Katy', is a mangled, melodic ballad driven by a beautifully engineered, wildly pitching lead, soulful organs, and warm, hymnal low-end. Constantly evolving through subtle microshifts and technical finesse, Katy unspools and rearranges itself in real time, culminating in an explosion of arcing synth contortions framed by a slow-burning four-to-the-floor beat.

On 'Hybrid Catalysis', Naethan sets a choppy break against mournful leads, squelchy bass figures, and airy pads. Cavernous, tactile drum chops and textures form a heavy, physical undercurrent, while shimmering chimes and dub chords ripple across the frequency spectrum-spacious, angelic, and gently suspended over growling, low-end throb.

After a decade releasing under another moniker, Naethan's alter ego was meant to return him to his roots in emotionally charged dance music. And it shows-Katy feels like the product of a seasoned artist: genre-agnostic, sonically refined, and full of intent and feeling.
