In his long career, the Italian composer Fabio Borgazzi, better known as Fabio Fabor, wrote over 500 songs for a multitude of singers of the mid-50s pop music scene.
This collection brings together some of his most unforgettable tracks, featuring elegant orchestral arrangements and a rich blend of diverse musical influences. Fabor's sound effortlessly draws from a tapestry of genres, from the soul of traditional Italian music—especially Neapolitan song—to the rhythmic pulse of Latin styles, the lively energy of folk classics like Calypso, and the first expressions of the Beat movement.
The compilation also features new versions of his 1959 hit, "Mille Volte," originally performed by Nilla Pizzi, here sung in Spanish by Irene Vilces and Sara Montiel.
