Berlin, Summer 2025 - A bold new release is shaking up the underground: Macho Madness, a raw, genre-blurring collaboration between Austrian duo Foehn & Jerome and Ukrainian artist Sonya Zlo. Residents of Club Der Visionaere and founders of the Perfumed Freedom label, Foehn & Jerome teamed up with Sonya-who brings a jazz-informed melodic touch-for an unfiltered studio jam that evolved into a provocative techno/house project. Together, they also perform live as Space Curls, pushing experimental boundaries.

Macho Madness dives deep into exaggerated masculinity, power illusions, and dominance rituals-questioning what we accept as "normal." The trio's chemistry was sparked by a chance encounter at a Berlin gig, growing into a full creative force. Following Perfumed Freedom's recent releases The Frisbee of No Return and Hermanngirl, this new record promises to disrupt expectations. Available summer 2025 on vinyl and digital-play it loud, but don't expect the familiar.
