OUT NOW — Volume III, the final installment of Pornographic-Time, a three-volume anthology marking five years of Drowned By Locals.
With its third and concluding volume, Pornographic-Time completes a long-form portrait of the label’s evolving sound, its expanding cohort of misfits, and its unfolding trajectory. Across all three volumes, Drowned By Locals gathers new works and uncovered pieces from artists across its orbit—those who have released with the label, collaborated through music or radio, crossed paths via unfinished or unrealized ideas, or remain part of its future.
The project unfolds in dialogue with Black Circle, a manifesto written for the occasion by Ian Bruner and published by DBL’s publishing arm Drowned By Public in a hand-numbered run of 100 copies.
“Both the targeted individual and the pornographic-Tantalus occupy the time-space of the horizonless interface, hived in algorithmic neurological pathways and pathologies, resulting in a bare life layered with compulsive and neurotic loops of behavior.”
Mastered by Rashad Becker
Artwork by Giovanni Murolo
Curated by Laith Demashqieh
All physical editions include the full digital anthology.
