Wah Wah 45s are very excited to announce four brand new remixes from dub don Prince Fatty for beloved Afro-reggae outfit Soothsayers.

Love Is Still The Answer is a beautifully uplifting song, written and sung by long time Soothsayers member and collaborator Julia Biel about the eternal power of love and its ability to overcome hate. It appears in its original incarnation on the band’s recent, critically acclaimed album, Fly Higher.

Mike Pelaconi, AKA Prince Fatty has been part of the Wah Wah 45s and Soothsayers extended family for many years, and here he delivers four typically crowd pleasing mixes, transcending both the worlds of Rockers Reggae and Afro Soul perfectly. For the former, Fatty called legendary reggae drummer Horseman into the studio, and crafted a lush rocksteady remix with a new horn arrangement and stripped back instrumentation.In contrast, the Afro Soul mix is a more urgent affair with Julia’s vocal gliding effortlessly over inspiriting percussion, spritely guitars and those trademark Soothsayers horns.
