After their fiery debut together, ('Like Gravity', Globuli 004, 2024) Ed Davenport and Tee Amara return with their second single on Globuli, 'Deepest Sea'.
Inspired by the chugging propulsion of US Masters like Angel Moraes, David Alvarado, and Saeed & Palash the duo continue their deep-dive into dramatic progressive house featuring Spanish-British Tee Amara's poetic vocals at the fore.
'Deepest Sea' comes in its full vocal version - a storming peak-time swell - plus a stripped Dub for wonky dance floors; Davenport's shifting frequencies and precise drums pushing forward.
Berlin's Panorama Bar closing-set maestro Nick Höppner hands in a glistening hi-tech remix exploring euphoric, acid soul, while Horoom / Bassiani resident Hamatsuki extracts an exquisitely swung deep house study, for fans of Steve O'Sullivan, Sushitech and Mojuba records.
Asunción's Condesa Club co-founder, and Pampanam label boss Chavi brings the heat in a funky amalgam of tripping acid, psychedelic signals and tight jacking percussion on his remix.
//
"Colours collide,
Everything glides.
Strange waters,
And yet,
The infinite pool of our roots.
Every Drop.
Holding on to my Body.
Where does the Sea begin,
Where is the line to my skin?
Breathe In."
