Lisathe are a Sydney-based instrumental trio comprising Miles Thomas (drums), Brendan Clark (bass) and Ollie Thorpe (guitar/pedal steel). Counted among the most in-demand instrumentalists in the country, the band draw on a wide range of influences — from Scandinavian composers to American artists such as Bill Frisell, Daniel Lanois and Ry Cooder — to develop a sound that sits across rock, jazz and experimental music.

Watch Out For The Horse Behind You is the trio's sophomore album and follow-up to their self-titled debut. Where that record offered reinterpretations of Scandinavian source material, this is a collection of original compositions inspired by family, community and the Australian landscape. Recorded at Golden Retriever Studios in Marrickville by Simon Berckelman and mixed by Miles Thomas at Ladder Studios, the album is released on La Sape Records.
