Iwuda follows debut single "Smoke Signals" with "Lullaby for Two Basses", out June 26 on La Sape Records. A duo composition for two basses, the track was recorded live in a single take at Yill Lull Studio in Canberra as part of Space to Create, a First Nations arts program supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. Sparse, intimate, and quietly arresting, it represents a distinct counterpoint to the rhythmic drive of "Smoke Signals" and signals the full range of Music for Iwuda, the debut album from First Nations bassist Davin Ojala, due July 24.
