David Versace returns with "Year of the Horse," a new single reworking the dense harmonic language of Henryk Górecki's 3 utwory w dawnym stylu, Movement III, into a jazz-inflected setting. Written and recorded January–February 2026, the track sees Versace revisiting a piece he first performed in a high school orchestra in 2014 — the previous Year of the Wood Horse — completing the cycle in 2026's Year of the Fire Horse.

The recording features a tight ensemble lineup: Jasper Gundersen (drums), Curtis Scibilia (trumpet), Mimi Versace (violin), with David Versace himself on piano, bass, cello and synths. Mixed by Oscar Borschmann, mastered by Alex L'Estrange.
