The new EP from Zurich's very own techno innovator, Styro2000, oscillates somewhere between his beloved FM sounds and Dadaist experiments. The opener, 'Deklean', is a minimalist FM stomper typical of Styro, which, in its universal style, can be played anywhere - from peak-time main floor to trippy after-hours sessions. 'Rane PI 14 Service Manual' continues in this vein, even as the first Dadaist notes appear just in time for the break. 'Wrongcubator' is a rubbery, springy groover, peppered with surprising, surreal sounds, with which a perfect balance between body and mind can be achieved. The closing track, 'Audioautist', must definitely be attributed to the Dada art movement, where Styro himself offers a rare glimpse into his vocal universe.
