The 8th edition of the CoOp Presents ‘One-Shots’ series invites Mariella and Streeton into the fold.

Mariella is a UK-based musician who writes, performs, arranges & produces their own material. The original version of this track ‘On My Mind’ was first released October 2025 as her debut single.

Co-produced by Jacob Weinreich, this was put together using home-studio setups incorporating a DMX drum machine, Prophet synth plugins, live bass and multi-layered vocals.

Drawing from Mariella's extensive background and experience within the DJ industry, the concept of a bruk remix was envisioned for the track, which Streeton fully brought to life.

Streeton is a producer & DJ that’s been shaping a distinctive sound, rooted in jazz-infused house & bruk, and enriched with deep Afro & Latin influences. He’s had releases previously on Dance Regular, Sonar Kollektiv, Boogie Cafe and Darker Than Wax, building a portfolio of sounds that are as powerful on dancefloors as they are for the deeper listen.

Streeton’s “Brukdown” keeps Mariella’s soulful vocals & catchy hooks intact throughout, adding skippy drums, infectious percussion and vibrant synths into the mix to create another 4-minute sure-shot for the dance.

‘On My Mind (Streeton’s Brukdown)’ is available exclusively on Bandcamp July 24th, then on all other digital platforms from July 31st.
