"Situazioni e Sensazioni" is an extremely rare library music album released in the 1970s under the pseudonym Viostel, the alias of acclaimed Italian composer Stelvio Cipriani, who is joined here by fellow composers Giuliano Sorgini and Massimo Catalano on most of the tracks. The album brings together a collection of mysterious, still-unidentified soundtrack cues spanning a wide range of moods and styles, from psychedelic atmospheres and jazz-funk grooves to tense thriller themes, spaghetti western-inspired melodies, and evocative vocal arrangements featuring Edda Dell'Orso ("Amabilmente") and I 4+4 di Nora Orlandi ("Affettuosamente"). A forgotten masterpiece of Italian music for film and television, finally restored and made available once again.
