Forster is a collaboration between Berlin-based electronic musicians Mitchell Keaney and Davide Luciani. Their unique approach is characterised by an unstable relationship between experimental music, noise rock and industrial music, with an intense exchange of audio signals, extensive use of wave shapers, compression and a lust for loudness.
This new release on The Wormhole captures the duo’s sonic force in its most immediate manifestation: live performance. Over the years Forster’s concerts have become a means of exploration rather than an attempt to refine a particular style. Within the physicality of the sound system, their distinctive idiom emerges as a tension between stasis and surges of acceleration, a continuous transformation of form into its disintegration.
“Live at Ohm” is a snapshot of Forster’s ever-evolving stylistic approach. The album was recorded in Berlin on 16 January 2026 during their performance at KooKoo, the renowned bimonthly music event hosted by musicians and curators Mieko Suzuki and Arno Raffeiner.
