The house grooves, crafted with the modern sense of balance characteristic of IVANO (aka Black Dynamite), gain a distinct depth with the addition of dub master ROGER. A1, “For What It’s Worth” (sample 1)—a dubby house track featuring shimmering alpha-wave synths—is remixed by ION LUDWIG, known as the “Frequency Juggler.” B2 (sample 3) is a masterpiece—a free-bass-inspired, awakening minimal house track that masterfully distills the best elements of the original! And then there’s the other original track, the title track B1 “Floating” (sample 2)—with its tough, low-end-jack groove and live instruments that occasionally overlap and drift away, it’s the very essence of their sound and absolutely fantastic.
