The latest release from the Dublin, Ireland-based party crew [Fatty Fatty Phonographics] has arrived! First up is the A-side produced by DJ Rahaan! It’s a powerful edit based on the 1976 oddity “Secondo Coro Delle Lavandaie” by Italian composer and theater director Roberto De Simone—a track recently featured on Psychemagik’s new album—which he originally covered with OOIOO. The edit retains the original’s marginal vibe while giving it an electric twist. On the B-side, DJ Darryn Jones delivers a Chicago underground edit that blends earthy elements with a muddy disco/funk track, sprinkled with the high-energy classic “THE FLIRT/Passion.” Highly recommended!
