Soul-stirring, dope techno from headliner DJ ISHIKAWA, based at “RAJISHAN,” a famous spot in Shizuoka’s Ryogae-cho Scramble District&# x301C;house, this is his first-ever mix CD, “AGAINST THE DAY,” which strikes at the very essence of the groove he has cultivated over many years!!!!!
Active as a DJ and trackmaker since the ’90s, he has built his career around his own party, “HACIENDA,” and his collaboration with close friend KAZUYOSHI, his diverse sets—born from a career spanning over 20 years—wildly and smoothly traverse a spectrum ranging from cutting-edge, dope electronic music to authentic NY/Chicago house, leaving you absolutely blown away! This is an absolutely fantastic mix CD that lets you feel the stories he’s spun across time and space, the passion of the man who reigns over the local dance scene, and his powerful determination to forge a path toward the future. Congratulations on the release!
