The transformation deepens with “Prolonged Resistance”; the second chapter in the Instruments Of Rapture series. The record opens with the hypnotic, slo-mo burner “Just A Memory,” luring you in before the striking hard with the uptempo, cosmic stomp of “Planets (Lost Groove).” The 12” closes out with “Better,” a mid-tempo, smoky soul bumper that lingers long after the fade.
From the 6th Borough Project "Part Two", a 2009 EP under the name of 6th Borough Project, a project of Graeme Clark and Craig Smith aka The Revenge, which is now at a premium on the used market, comes "Just A Memory" (sample 3) based on Hi Gloss's "You'll Never Know" and "Planets (Lost Groove)" using WHISPERS's "Planets Of Life". The B-SIDE is a one-sided full-length of "Better" sample 1, a mid-tempo soul track that slowly loops and unfolds. This is another great smoky, deep track that could be the main attraction.
