The second release from the TR line launched last year by Spain’s electro and techno label 〈FANZINE〉! Featuring JUAN RICO, who has long been a pillar of the Spanish techno scene under various aliases, including EEKO. Side A features a rhythmic experimental approach, with the title track “Santa Compaña” (sample 2)—driven by aggressively heavy drums and pulsating polyrhythms—and “Ensoñación” (sample 1), which stands out for its raw edge and tribal texture. The two tracks on Side B, which adopt a slow tempo that gradually seeps into the immersive soundscape, are also superb. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
