The evil elven sorcerer (witch-warlock) Nore Usk leads an army of goblins, hobgoblins, and buglears to attack the prince’s palace. The court officials were chained up, and Prince I Satr-i himself was transformed into a Rich (an immortal sorcerer) by a terrible curse and imprisoned in a magical dungeon. When he awoke, he found that all his weapons, armor, and possessions had been taken from him, and he was locked inside a rusty iron cage in a dungeon where no light reached.
