From heavy tribal techno to deep dub techno, this reissue compilation features a handpicked selection of tracks from the ’90s and ’00s that have long been hard to find! The latest release in the AUBREY reissue series, from a living legend who has presided over the UK techno underground for over 30 years. “Dawn Over The Blue Planet” (1999)—a hidden gem with a deep house approach that was previously available only on CD—is now being released on vinyl for the first time.
The reissue series continues from the prestigious label 〈SOLID GROOVE〉, helmed by AUBREY—a heavyweight in the UK techno scene—and known for captivating legends such as DERRICK MAY and TERRY FRANCIS. Featuring the popular tribal techno track “Travel” (2001)—where mystical, shimmering high-tone synthscapes layer over dusty, earthy percussion grooves—and the funky tech sound of “Straight Ahead” (1998)—this release marks the 40th catalog entry with a lavish, carefully curated compilation.
