Beyond The Bridge - Cat No: KOP02
- updated:2026-10-26
A new release from mastermind K.O.P. 32 has arrived via 〈BEYOND THE BRIDGE〉, a label featuring avant-garde techno talents such as SPEKKI WEBU and PYRAMID OF KNOWLEDGE! With every sound anchored to the grid and repeating with precision, yet maintaining a living, breathing groove, this avant-techno masterpiece balances regularity and vitality through its soundscapes and textures.
Track List
Programmed with a fixed grid, where every sound is arranged according to a consistent rhythm and set of rules, and the same pattern is repeated. This avant-garde techno arrives with a startling, almost living sound that transcends even its own strict regularity. Take “Water” (sample 3), for example, where acid clings to staccato beats. It features intense sound design that combines the hypnotic effect of stripped-down, repetitive loops with vividly shifting textures. This is awesome. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
