We’ve got the new release from DANIEL CREAHAN—the charismatic all-rounder known as ALIEN D, who is also the leader of the noise group “MIND DYNAMICS.” This abstract ambient dub work is built on a foundation of soft, buoyant electronics, reconstructed by incorporating a variety of acoustic instruments and vocals using dub techniques. The blend of electronic and acoustic elements varies widely; tracks range from “Shifted Apsis,” which features a prominent saxophone and has a strong electronic jazz vibe, to “Turned On A Dime,” which leans toward electronic sound art with its intricate electronic textures.
