From next-generation artist CODY CURRIE—who has released tracks on UK veterans 〈CLASSIC〉 and 〈RAZOR'N'TAPE〉—comes the lighthearted house jam “Crocodile Shoes” (sample 1), skillfully featuring soulful female scat vocals; “Br CL” (sample 2) by the mysterious, anonymous act TORPEDO FRED, featuring solid open hi-hats, a pitch-black one-chord loop, and a smoky, swaying, MPC-quantized low groove; “Les Tartes Des Mamie Hinkle” by beatmaker DONNIE MOUSTAKI—who has participated in sessions with label crew member LAST NUBIAN and on the 〈BLAQ NUMBERS〉 compilation— (sample 3), as well as short skits by core members MANTRAFUNK and Melbourne’s SCISSORWORK—this mini-album features a total of seven tracks.
