We’re thrilled to announce the reissue of this remix version of veteran artist GARY MARTIN’s popular track “Pimping People In High Places,” originally released in 2001 on his own label, TEKNOTIKA. It features an authentic Detroit hypnotic groove.

From the 〈TEKNOTIKA〉 back catalog, this release—part of the 〈DET 313〉 series, which features limited-edition reissues of carefully selected tracks—was released in 2019 with new remixes and remastering. Featuring the smoky minimal tech track “Pimping People In High Places (Woodword Ave Alternative Mix)” (sample 1), which incorporates vocal samples.
