Influenced by minimalism and the ECM chamber music style, this sparse jazz unfolds along three axes: repetition, silence, and resonance. The compositions—which pay meticulous attention not only to the restrained sound design but also to timbre and cohesion—offer a masterful and unique experience of tension and unity that seems to condense the very space around you; it’s quite excellent.
