A new release from the Afro-Caribbean band PARBLEU, centered around drummer ANDREA DE FAZIO of NU GENEA and singer ANDRES BALBUCEA, who has also been involved with MYSTIC JUNGLE Productions! Created to evoke the opening of a ritual, “Elegua” (sample 1) is a Caribbean disco jam featuring call-and-response vocals inspired by the myths and deities (Orishas) of the Yoruba people of West Africa, along with classical guitar and analog synthesizers.
