“Lately, I’ve been completely absorbed in life with my family,” says Benny. This album was born from his experiences as a father, his life with his family, and the ordinary days of his adult life. Opening with “You Love Me” (sample_2)—a refreshing duet with his wife that captures the essence of AOR and yacht pop—the album features a total of 11 tracks, including the beat-driven “Be Myself (feat. Tune-Yards & Ana Tijoux)” (sample_1)—a track with a strong beat that also impressed listeners on his previous album, *Beat Tape III*. The lyrics delve deeper into his inner world than ever before. With both his wife and daughter reportedly participating in the production, the album exudes such good vibes that it feels like you’re looking at a family photo album. With every release, I’m struck by how beautifully distinct and clear each instrument sounds thanks to the production. (Original Japanese text by AYAM)
