From the limited-edition 7-inch series of obscure record edits titled 〈SCRUNIVERSAL〉 by edit disco master SCRUSCRU, we present DJ ELOHIM—a digger and edit master discovered in Brazil by the crew members of LOS PROTOS themselves! This release features “Pra Swingar” (1977) by SOM NOSSO DE CADA DIA, a funk band that stood out in the Brazilian music scene of the 1970s.

The latest release in the “Local Sugar Diggers” series—best known for its reworked rare records—features DJ ELOHIM, a digger LOS PROTOS met while in Brazil, joining the family! Featuring “Pra Swingar” from the rare second album *Som Nosso* by SOM NOSSO DE CADA DIA—a unique 1970s Brazilian band that transitioned from progressive rock to funk—this track blends vintage Brazilian grooves with powerful drum breaks to create a sizzling, slightly laid-back beat. “Eu Quero Ver Você Se Remexer” (sample 1)—this track showcases not only the sharp track selection that defines this series but also a sophisticated editing sensibility at its finest.
