An anthemic garage house track that builds to a peak on the dance floor while maintaining a dreamlike atmosphere, featuring layered processed vocals over a synthscape that grows increasingly open as the track progresses! We’ve stocked the new EP by jazz pianist NILS KROGH, aka ARKAJO, who also boasts a large following as part of the deep house duo “GENIUS OF TIME” with DORISBURG.
Track List
ARKAJO—who, alongside his partner DORISBURG, has been releasing music as a flagship artist for the Stockholm-based label 〈ANIARA〉—has dropped a highly anticipated new release. Although its arrival was delayed due to a pressing issue, it’s finally here! “Incandescence” (sample 1) is an anthemic house track sure to be a highlight of any DJ set, gradually building up with a chord progression steeped in sentiment and layered, ethereal vocals before bursting into a melodic climax during the break. We especially recommend the B-side: “Writhe” (sample 2), a deep minimal tech track that’s a complete contrast to the A-side. It keeps the energy grounded while featuring a nicely broken-down rhythmic beat and a sharp, edgy sound—a great track. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
