FERGUS JONES—better known as PERKO, the mastermind behind FELT, a key label uniquely pioneering the Copenhagen experimental scene through an ambient/industrial lens—is back with a long-awaited release! Featuring THOMAS BUSH on vocals, they’ve released a 7-inch record of pastoral downtempo dub/dub-folk. Pulsating bass lines and a cyclical folk sound underlie the vocals, which exude a quiet, wistful atmosphere.
FERGUS JONES, the mastermind behind 〈FELT〉—which has been putting out a string of cutting-edge releases, including reissues of unreleased tracks by the Swedish cult ambient artist CIVILISTJÄVEL!—is back with a new release after a long hiatus. “Untitled” (sample 1) is an exquisite downtempo dub track featuring a looping folk sound driven by dub bass and THOMAS BUSH’s matter-of-fact vocals—its meta-like breaks are also quite mysterious. (Reportedly featuring Yumiko Mannarelli of crimeboys.) The B-side is an instrumental dub track.
