This is the new single from AL KENT, a true disco lover who frequented THE LOFT at the age of 8 in the ’70s and a trusted veteran of Northern Disco under the Million Dollar Disco label. Based on “You Deserve To Dance”—a track produced by Webster Lewis in collaboration with Herbie Hancock in the late ’70s—this is a cover-style track created with The Disco Love Orchestra, featuring backing vocals, strings, and horns. A fantastic disco track that feels like a classic masterpiece of Salsoul and Philly soul. A release that has garnered support from many DJs, including Moodymann, Groove Armanda, and HORSE MEAT DISCO. Available on 7-inch. (Saito)
