The latest release from 〈SLECIONS.〉—a collective of orthodox deep house artists including DEMUIR, NICK HOLDER, and KAI ALCÉ—is a house trip that, while offering top-notch deep house, also draws its roots from smooth garage. “Shelter Me (main)” (sample1)—where everything comes together through soul vocals that deeply stir the emotions yet remain as elusive as a phantom, a heavy bottom groove, and soft pad sounds—features “Shelter Me (Toronto Hustle Late Night dub)” (sample 2) on the B-side!
