The soundtrack to the 1995 film *Ghost in the Shell*, composed by Kenji Kawai, who has established himself as a master of film music through his collaboration with director Mamoru Oshii. The soundtrack features a sound that incorporates elements of ethnic music, such as Bulgarian voices—which became famous through sampling—and gamelan. Although it was originally released only on CD, WRWTFWW released the first vinyl edition in 2017, excluding bootlegs. This is the 2024 repress.
