The appearance varies depending on the fiber being dyed, and even the same plant yields different colors depending on the season. “Plant-based dyeing” is sai ...Read mored to make it nearly impossible to reproduce the exact same color twice. We used the plant “cochineal” and created each piece one by one in collaboration with dye artist Sophora Phylla Lab, applying a collage-like approach to both the design and the dyeing process. Since the dyes are derived from natural sources, the gradual fading that occurs over time is part of the charm. We hope you’ll cherish this as a one-of-a-kind piece, unique to you.

mt.chillsがシルクスクリーンをコラージュ的感覚で配置した１点モノ。厚手すぎない素材感、一枚でもインナーにも様々な季節に活躍するアイテムです。

ざっくりとした着心地のオープンエンド素材のオーバーサイズTシャツ。丈の長さに前後で違いを出し、サイド部分はスリット入り。二本針縫製の為、タフな首まわり仕様になってます。

染める繊維によっても表情が変わり、同じ植物でも季節により染まる色が違う。同じ色を出すのはほぼ不可能と言われる、「草木染め」。植物は『コチニール』を使い、デザインと染色を一点一点、コラージュ的感覚を用いて、染色家/Sophora Phylla Labと共でつくりました。自然の物から染めているので、ゆっくり経年劣化により退色していく過程も面白く、自分だけの唯一有無の作品と思って頂ければ幸いです。

●植物の説明
・コチニール Cochineal
中南米地区で採取されるオウギサボテンにつくカイガラムシの一種で、臙脂虫(えんじむし)とも呼ばれ、えんじ色の色名の由来とも言われている。

染める繊維によっても表情が変わり、同じ植物でも季節により染まる色が違う。同じ色を出すのはほぼ不可能と言われる、「草木染め」。 植物は『インディゴ×アカメガシワ×アカネ×メリケンカルカヤ』を使い、デザインと染色を一点一点、コラージュ的感覚を用いて、染色家/Sophora Phylla Labと制作。自然の物から染めているので、ゆっくり経年劣化により退色していく過程も面白く、自分だけの唯一有無の作品と思って頂ければ幸いです。

空気を多く含んだオープンエンド生地。比較的厚みありますが、リラックスシルエットなので、着込むほどになじむので、愛着を持ちながら着て頂けます。
