A new release from Chile’s renowned label *SOUNDRIVE*, featuring a mouthwatering lineup that includes NAIL, PAUL JOHNSON, and TOMMY VICARI JNR! Introducing JAY TRIPWIRE, the undisputed veteran who has been a staple of the Canadian house scene for over 20 years. Once again, he presents sounds that explore the boundaries of dub, tech, and house—a floating soundscape featuring silky-smooth synths and mysterious vocals, and the deep-tech track “Irene,” where deep, soft-resonating dub bass and organic drums overlap emotionally (sample 1). The remix is handled by the masterful THOMAS MELCHIOR, who delivers an exquisite, minimal-funky rework that preserves the depth of the original track. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
