Featuring cult classics of Italo and Rockin’ Disco, such as MARZIO VINCENZI’s “Vulcan” (1981) from MACHO and “Falling Down” (1980) from NUGGETS! Afro-cosmic master BEPPE LODA makes his debut on Italy’s 〈DISCO MIND〉! He showcases his editing skills, crafting tracks with clever pitch adjustments and loop expansions that gradually build tension on the dance floor.
Track List
Beppe Loda, whose “ITALIAN SPAGHETTI DISCO FREAK” series of obscure disco edits has been a huge hit lately. He’s just launched a new edit that evokes the 1980s—when he was a resident DJ at TYPHOON—capturing the era’s uniquely bizarre and intoxicating atmosphere! From space rock to cosmic jazz-funk, his masterful editing skills command the energy with a sticky disco groove that seems to make time stand still. (Original Japanese text by Akie)
