The fifth release from the LOBSTER THEREMIN-distributed house label ANMA, whose previous album, Broken Beats by SOFA TALK, was a nice change from the maniacs such as GARI ROMALIS, NASTY BOY, and BESSIEKAT!
Introducing REEKEE, a project by Italian deep house producer RICCARDO MASI, who has also released a split album with Chicago’s LATIN SOUL BROTHAS—aka RICARDO MIRANDA! In addition to RICARDO MIRANDA’s hyper-Afro-polyphonic remix “Anthology (Ricardo Miranda Remix)” (sample 2), and the remix “Anthology (Sophisticado Mix)” (sample 3) by VICK LAVENDER—who is also a member of STRICTLY JAZ UNIT, featuring BOO WILLIAMS and GLENN UNDERGROUND—is absolutely fantastic. Released in 2017.
