We’re delivering you what is truly a passion project for us at Bauhaus Records. When the album came out in 1986 Avi Matos’ album “Lokeach Et Hayom Le’at (taking the day slowly) was the first ever reggae and dub album to be made in Israel. Needless to say it was way ahead of its time. Back then, the production has been a milestone and brought together some of Israel’s best musicians at the time.
Re-mastered with love to provide the true reggae and dub sound

再発にさいして、翻訳した英語の表記がなされてますが、オリジナルの表記はイスラエル語。86年テルアヴィブでリリースされたレゲエ・アルバム。3曲をDENNIS BOVELLが、4曲をEx-Centric Sound System、イスラエルのプロデューサー/ベーシストのYossi Fineが、またイスラエルの電子音楽家Raviv Gazitも1曲プロデュースを手掛けていてこれもすごく良い(sample2)。結構当時のロンドンの、ポストパンク以降のレゲエを嗜好したポップスにも通じるようなデジタルなレゲエ・テイストで透明感のあるリゾート・ニューエイジ・ポップ。中東感が絶妙に混ざり合った感じがなんとも魅力です。甘めのヴォーカルのゆれも独特。清涼感、力強さ、ヘヴィー・ダブ・ポップ・レゲエ。バレアリック的、エアポート・レゲエ的にも。 (サイトウ)
