`La Camita’ is an incredible Latin funk nugget –recorded in Peru by Traffic Sound and later on by funk pioneers Black Sugar, comprising all the right ingredients to shake dance floors worldwide.

ペルー音楽のキーマン、サックス奏者ジーン・ピア・マグネット在籍、南米サイケデリック・ロック最高峰として知られるTraffic Soundによる1971年のラテンファンク/ブーガルー的なアプローチの「La Camita」と、同じく70年代初頭に活躍し、STEVE WONDERのカバーなどもあり、レアグルーヴファンの中で名高い2つのアルバムを残すBlack Sugarの最後期'78年にリリースされたラストシングルのB-SIDEに収録された「La Camita」のカバーのカップリング。エレピと夢見心地の冒頭の感じで幕開け、こちらもじっくりマジカルな 04:27のファンタジー。同じ曲で違うアプローチ。どちらも魅力。ストックしました。 (サイトウ)
