Texture returns for its second release with debut EP by Detroit-based STS. ‘Swallowed by a Whale’, dips a toe into the deep ocean of a swirling mind, notated with captivating rhythms and intense, otherworldly sounds.
Danny Daze and Jonny from Space turn 'Souvlaki Man' on its head, highlighting the Miami-Detroit psychedelic sonic connection. On the B-side, Lyon's Warzou thickens 'Boot Stuck in the Swamp' to a sludgy low-end workout.

The second release from Texture Records, the label behind Texture—the new wave of Detroit underground parties that has also featured DJ Sprinkles and Lena Willikens. Following the release by Montreal/Berlin’s DATA PLAN, here comes Detroit-based artist STS. Remixes by Miami’s Danny Daze and Jonny From Space—who also released an album on Incienso—are featured, and the remix by Warzou from Lyon, France, is also dope. (Original Japanese text by Saito)
