Japan's mysterious house label Mixtacy is back.
After its debut sold out on pre-order, the second release drops with 4 underground cult cuts - 180g vinyl only, DJ use exclusive.
A1: Sampling the Chicago house anthem, this rare version was once circulated only as a cult promo among close friends in Japan. SHINDO, who earned acclaim with his YOTOGI EP on Australia's Vessel, now delivers deep tracks remixed by label owner YAMADAtheGIANT.
A2: An exclusive, chaotic psychedelic interlude mixing Detroit techno with Loft classics.
B1: Dig up a deep cut: an unreleased track that boldly reworks a cult Japanese City Pop gem into a slow Balearic house cut.
B2: Raw machine house, sampled with garage classics.
All tracks are mastered by the Romanian talent, Dragutesku.
The label artwork faithfully recreates the off-register prints and smudges of cheap house vinyl labels long forgotten on warehouse shelves.
Mixtacy is an independent project by DJs, for DJs, and of DJs, based in Tokyo since 2024. Run and curated by YAMADAtheGIANT and his friends, their passion lies in updating classic house through modern underground artists. All tracks are designed for the dance floor and vinyl house DJs. Each track has been tested at underground parties by DJs before its release.
